Overview

CMS EXD explosion-protected electric-hydraulic excavator, rated for ERZ1 & NERZ operation in underground coal mines. Based on a Komatsu PC30MR-2 platform and purpose-converted for flameproof underground coal use, with a short tail swing profile designed specifically for confined underground work. Supplied by CMS as a complete package including a full suite of interchangeable attachments — rotary cutter, auger drive with augers, rock breaker, and multiple buckets.

1 Unit rebuilt mechanically and electrically with AS3800 complete. 2nd Unit has electrics overhauled, requires Mechanical overhaul.
